Welcome to the community in Christ at Zion United Church of Christ. We believe that all people are children of God and rejoice that you have chosen to visit our website and hope you will join us as we worship God. If you visit our community, we will extend our hand to you in Christian fellowship and hope that you will take a moment to visit with us after the service. If you have any questions prior to the service, please ask anyone in the community. We have all been visitors at some time in our life, and we are eager to assist you in any way. May the Holy Spirit fill us and guide us as we worship God together.

Our church is located at 402 Main Street in Lowden, Iowa, at the eastern end of the town’s business district. The accompanying map will help you locate us.

Our Sunday schedule begins with our worship service at 9:30 am. We also plan outdoor services during the summer as a way of connecting directly with God’s beautiful creation. Check our calendar for special services and events.

During the months of September thru May, Sunday School is also integrated into our 9:30 am worship service. Each year we celebrate special events in the life of Christ’s larger church community as well as events from our own church history.

Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and is also offered on special days during the church year. Please visit our “Worship” tab for more information about our worship services.
